Dudley Divers's Russell Ashton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Buxton in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Buxton in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Russell Ashton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ray Waterhouse struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Russell Ashton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kismaayo FC. In the 17th play minute Stewart Tolley came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Matthew Morley. 1-0. Russell Ashton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Buxton, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Karl Buxton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Ashton having to interfere. Russell Ashton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Waterhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Russell Ashton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Buxton in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ray Waterhouse in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russell Ashton saved Dudley Divers from getting behind. Kismaayo FC's Matthew Morley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Mason in the 54th minute of play. Kismaayo FC's Karl Buxton got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dudley Divers's goalkeeper Russell Ashton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ray Waterhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Ashton having to interfere. Kismaayo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
