Rod Goodall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Ferguson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Goodall in the 10th minute of play forced Toilet Seat FC's goalkeeper Bradley Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Cartwright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Ferguson having to interfere. In the 28th minute Rod Goodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Westhoughton City's Thom Alderson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rod Goodall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bradley Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Rod Goodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Osbourne made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Neil Yorke sent off a good shot on target. Robbie Osbourne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Yorke in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Toilet Seat FC's Neil Yorke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robbie Osbourne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Yorke got free with Robbie Osbourne in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rod Goodall to strike the kick off in the second half. Keith Beard's late challenge caught a Toilet Seat FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keith Beard helped the player get up and apologised. Keith Beard kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Philip Hargreaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Toilet Seat FC's goalkeeper Bradley Ferguson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Cartwright. Isaac Cartwright could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Bradley Ferguson made a huge save. Roy Fairbank kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Robbie Osbourne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinnie Woodford's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Rod Goodall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Ferguson having to interfere. Toilet Seat FC's Bradley Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Goodall in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Vinnie Woodford made a precise shot to the right of Robbie Osbourne. Westhoughton City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Neil Yorke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Robbie Osbourne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradley Ferguson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rod Goodall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes, Jacob Garlick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westhoughton City and the Toilet Seat FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Westhoughton City got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Garlick. Toilet Seat FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
