The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwyn Davis got free with Bradley Ferguson in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, Toilet Seat FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Taggart to maneuver through the defense. Gwyn North received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bradley Ferguson came out and tried to block the shot, but Gwyn North slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Scott Sutton came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Toilet Seat FC's Neil Yorke. But to his dismay, Neil Yorke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gwyn Davis came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bradley Ferguson could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Toilet Seat FC's zone, Gwyn Davis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradley Ferguson came out of the goal and Gwyn Davis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bradley Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyn North in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match, Gwyn North tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bradley Ferguson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Gwyn North took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Bradley Ferguson to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinnie Woodford was the one to do the kick off. If Vinnie Woodford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
