Spectators: 7619 (Terracing: 5715, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nial Afful took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Kingswear's Phil Jackson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barney Rushmere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Phil Jackson might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barney Rushmere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phil Jackson ran back to his position shaking his head. Barney Rushmere came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Kingswear's Nial Afful. But to his dismay, Nial Afful quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Nicky Branston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Tenbury Wells AFC's Danny Boulding ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tim Ford. Tim Ford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Nial Afful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Barney Rushmere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Danny Boulding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tenbury Wells AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Walter Harrington hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Kingswear's Nial Afful sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barney Rushmere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Tenbury Wells AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Jackson came free, but Barney Rushmere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Kingswear's Nial Afful sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barney Rushmere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Norman Green fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingswear's protests and gave Norman Green a yellow card for diving instead. The Tenbury Wells AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kingswear were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danny Boulding stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Nial Afful took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Barney Rushmere to make any attempt to save it. Tenbury Wells AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nial Afful 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Barney Rushmere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nial Afful, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Danny Boulding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenbury Wells AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Boulding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kingswear's Tim Ford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Boulding in the 68th minute of play. Nial Afful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Barney Rushmere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nial Afful had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barney Rushmere made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Phil Jackson sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Ollie Peakman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kingswear's Phil Jackson got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tenbury Wells AFC's Barney Rushmere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nial Afful in the 87th minute of play. Nial Afful took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barney Rushmere. Barney Rushmere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Phil Jackson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Rushmere having to interfere. If Phil Jackson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nial Afful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Barney Rushmere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Kingswear could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tenbury Wells AFC throughout the match.
