Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Francis Price started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Leroy Dibb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Rowling in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Sol Grayson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louie Rowling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leroy Dibb having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Upwell's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Price came free, but Dean Sutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fitz Searle in the 16th minute of play forced Forest Club's goalkeeper Leroy Dibb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Upwell's goalkeeper Dean Sutton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Moore. Leroy Dibb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louie Rowling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leroy Dibb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fitz Searle's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. A collision led to Forest Club getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Franz Hicks hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Forest Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Upwell:s goal. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Upwell. Dale Pollard stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leroy Dibb. 0-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Sebastian Moore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forest Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Moore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leroy Dibb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louie Rowling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Upwell's Dean Sutton got control of the ball when Sebastian Moore tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louie Rowling was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Upwell's Fitz Searle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leroy Dibb. Leroy Dibb yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 58 minutes into the game, Franz Hicks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forest Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Upwell the free kick. Leroy Dibb came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Upwell's Fitz Searle. But to his dismay, Fitz Searle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fitz Searle in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leroy Dibb, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Fitz Searle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fitz Searle might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leroy Dibb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fitz Searle ran back to his position shaking his head. Forest Club's Leroy Dibb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Forest Club from getting a goal against them. When Fitz Searle came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Upwell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fitz Searle couldn't finish the play. Franz Hicks kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Leroy Dibb was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dale Pollard. The Forest Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Upwell were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
