Phil Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Lewis Briant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guy Barnfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Downes in the 15th minute of play. Phil Delaney took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damion Workman. Coventry City F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Damion Workman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doug Leather's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doug Leather in the 25th minute of play forced Coventry City F.C.'s goalkeeper Damion Workman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doug Leather in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damion Workman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guy Barnfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marlon Lynch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Downes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Barnfield having to interfere. Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marlon Lynch in the 36th minute of play. In the last second Damion Workman throw himself and got hold of the ball when Doug Leather in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Coventry City F.C.'s Pedro Downes got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Doug Leather, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 44 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Damion Workman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Guy Barnfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Downes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doug Leather stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Bhatti Slappers F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Downes came free, but Guy Barnfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Bhatti Slappers F.C's Anthony Clayton seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anthony Clayton the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bhatti Slappers F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anthony Clayton had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 62nd minute, Frank Kaye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Doug Leather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damion Workman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Evans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Kaye charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Kaye the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Coventry City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Kaye to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Downes in the 72nd minute of play forced Bhatti Slappers F.C's goalkeeper Guy Barnfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doug Leather struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Damion Workman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bhatti Slappers F.C. When Bhatti Slappers F.C's Doug Leather in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Antony Martindale got a throw-in 86 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pedro Downes. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coventry City F.C.'s goalkeeper Damion Workman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Coventry City F.C.'s Lewis Briant got a free kick in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lewis Briant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guy Barnfield. That made the score 1-2 in the 91 minute of play. Phil Delaney hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Coventry City F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
