After a rather tough play, Ash's Curtis Jones got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Perry Wroe's late challenge caught a Bhatti Slappers F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perry Wroe helped the player get up and apologised. Leo Glanvill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Guy Barnfield made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Dyson in the 16th minute of play forced Bhatti Slappers F.C's goalkeeper Guy Barnfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Doug Leather notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ash's Greg Brooks. Greg Brooks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perry Wroe got free with Guy Barnfield in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Dyson in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guy Barnfield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Bhatti Slappers F.C from getting a goal against them. Guy Barnfield made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perry Wroe in the 29th minute. Bhatti Slappers F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Curtis Jones scored to the left of an out of position Guy Barnfield, making the score, 3-1. Guy Barnfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Wroe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Ash's Guy Barnfield threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albert Dyson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guy Barnfield came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Ash's Perry Wroe. But to his dismay, Perry Wroe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Jones in the 55th minute of play. Guy Barnfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Glanvill in the 59th minute of play. Curtis Jones hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Bhatti Slappers F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Wroe came free, but Guy Barnfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brett Seward kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Greg Brooks had great luck who in the 66thth minute grab hold of the ball when Doug Leather from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Leo Glanvill fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ash's protests and gave Leo Glanvill a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bhatti Slappers F.C booed when Ash was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Glanvill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Dyson in the 68th minute of play. In the 84th minute Curtis Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Barnfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guy Barnfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Maston in the 85th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curtis Jones during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guy Barnfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Wroe, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ash's zone, Ivor Bell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greg Brooks came out of the goal and Ivor Bell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Doug Leather who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ash's Greg Brooks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Albert Dyson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guy Barnfield was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ash had played much better football throughout.
