Spectators: 6636 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gav Cornish kicked off to start the match. If Gav Cornish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lunatic Leeds's Travis Sykes got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Grangetown F.C.'s Rick Fielden broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Lunatic Leeds's goalkeeper Kenny Lawson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Austen Beavan. Kenny Lawson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Austen Beavan in the 16th minute. Lunatic Leeds's Kyle Peat got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rick Fielden's late challenge caught a Lunatic Leeds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rick Fielden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, one of Grangetown F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grangetown F.C.. When Lunatic Leeds's Gav Cornish in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grangetown F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Grangetown F.C.'s zone, Gav Cornish stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Woodhall came out of the goal and Gav Cornish tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenny Lawson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hayden Way in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute Gav Cornish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Woodhall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Lunatic Leeds's Ben Pyrah tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gav Cornish struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ralf Woodhall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunatic Leeds. In the 45th minute, Sebastien Hampton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bryan Hurst made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Lunatic Leeds got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Peat. After 59 played minutes Grangetown F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marty King. Ben Pyrah was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Grangetown F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Austen Beavan. Gav Cornish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ralf Woodhall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Austen Beavan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenny Lawson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 73rd match minute, Lunatic Leeds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasey Lovett to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Lawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Fielden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pat Cawood was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, one of Lunatic Leeds:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gav Cornish fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Woodhall having to interfere. Lunatic Leeds's Kenny Lawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Hurst in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gav Cornish in the 90th minute of play forced Grangetown F.C.'s goalkeeper Ralf Woodhall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Hurst in the 94th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Grangetown F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Lunatic Leeds for much of the match.
