An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Tolley in the 3rd minute of play forced Bhatti Slappers F.C's goalkeeper Guy Barnfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony Clayton kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Guy Barnfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Tolley, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Dyson in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Doug Leather could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. Ivor Bell's late challenge caught a Ash's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivor Bell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Bhatti Slappers F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivor Bell to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bhatti Slappers F.C getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anthony Clayton hit a great ball. Sid Washington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guy Barnfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Glanvill in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Ash booed when Bhatti Slappers F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Seward didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Tolley in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ivor Bell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Oscar Evans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Harvey Izzard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Barnfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Ash's Tim Tolley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guy Barnfield made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Izzard in the 43rd minute of play forced Bhatti Slappers F.C's goalkeeper Guy Barnfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Barnfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harvey Izzard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Harvey Izzard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ash fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doug Leather was the one to do the kick off. Guy Barnfield didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Dyson went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With 59 minutes on the clock, Phil Delaney commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Guy Barnfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Washington in the 61st minute of play. Tim Tolley kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ivor Bell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Greg Brooks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Glanvill charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Glanvill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Ash got a freekick which was hit by Leo Glanvill. Doug Leather recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Harvey Izzard fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ash's protests and gave Harvey Izzard a yellow card for diving instead. Greg Brooks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Clayton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guy Barnfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Izzard in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Tim Tolley rounded Bhatti Slappers F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. Sebastien Story-Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Ash supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ash would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
