The Stalowe United fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Stalowe United's Dane Payne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stalowe United's Noel Gettins got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Norby City's goalkeeper Oliver Naisbitt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 29 in the game by Donny Perryman from a close distance when the talented Aaron Lawless managed to make a qualified save. Stalowe United's players were relieved. Donny Perryman succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Kristopher Wills took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Aaron Lawless to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Payne in the 39th minute of play forced Norby City's goalkeeper Oliver Naisbitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Lawless was a little too slow when Charlie Huxtable got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-1. After a rather tough play, Norby City's Stevie Winstanley got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Rush in the 48th minute of play forced Stalowe United's goalkeeper Aaron Lawless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Norby City's goalkeeper Oliver Naisbitt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Charlie Huxtable notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Stalowe United's Aaron Lawless. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Huxtable in the 79th minute of play forced Stalowe United's goalkeeper Aaron Lawless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Ivan Wrigley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Norby City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristopher Wills to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Lawless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Rush in the 86th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Stalowe United's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Rush came free, but Aaron Lawless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match Jacob Black sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Lawless skillfully saved the ball. Stalowe United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
