Aaron Lawless didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mason FC. In the 3rd match minute, Stalowe United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calum Mullen to maneuver through the defense. Pierce Meehan was a little too slow when Noel Gettins got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Mason FC booed when Stalowe United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyn Rice didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stalowe United's Aaron Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Brook in the 14th minute of play. Perry Barker hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Gregory Brook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Lawless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierce Meehan was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Dane Payne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dane Payne really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Dane Payne in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pierce Meehan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aaron Lawless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shaun Sparks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Stalowe United's goal looked a bit too open when Lennie Peakman came free, but Aaron Lawless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregory Brook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Mason FC got a freekick which was hit by Dion Tipton. Stalowe United's Aaron Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry Barker in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Dane Payne lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Pierce Meehan.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregory Brook made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Stalowe United's Calum Mullen got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Perry Barker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mason FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perry Barker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dane Payne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierce Meehan was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dane Payne in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierce Meehan saved Mason FC from getting behind. Aaron Lawless was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gregory Brook showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 78 minute of play. Stalowe United's Aaron Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaun Sparks in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mason FC's zone, Damian Lampard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierce Meehan came out of the goal and Damian Lampard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Mason FC defense, Dane Payne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierce Meehan. The Mason FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierce Meehan should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Mason FC's Gregory Brook dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-2. Toby Askew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stalowe United had played much better football throughout.
