Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ozzy Cooper got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Stewart Clement hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kevin Eanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind London Met Academy's goalkeeper Pedro Bancroft, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tommy Acton fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored London Met Academy's protests and gave Tommy Acton a yellow card for diving instead. Tommy Acton hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Lewis Barnes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Bancroft to make any attempt to save it. Aaron Nightingales short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Pedro Bancroft to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 14 played minutes London Met Academy got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Acton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Barnes in the 16th minute of play forced London Met Academy's goalkeeper Pedro Bancroft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in London Met Academy's zone, Aaron Nightingale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Bancroft came out of the goal and Aaron Nightingale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Lewis Barnes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maniac City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lewis Barnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Nightingale got free with Pedro Bancroft in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. London Met Academy's Pedro Bancroft proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save London Met Academy from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Lewis Barnes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pedro Bancroft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Barnes in the 31st minute of play. London Met Academy's Pedro Bancroft proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save London Met Academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Eanes in the 38th minute of play forced Maniac City's goalkeeper Rhys Laycock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lewis Barnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pedro Bancroft tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Bancroft made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Aaron Nightingale sent off a good shot on target.

Graeme Hewitt charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Graeme Hewitt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for London Met Academy! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Barnes in the 58th minute of play forced London Met Academy's goalkeeper Pedro Bancroft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Ozzy Cooper got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rhys Laycock was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, London Met Academy's Tommy Acton got a free kick in the 60th minute. Pedro Bancroft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Barnes in the 65th minute of play. Tommy Acton kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Aaron Nightingale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Bancroft. London Met Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Nightingale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Graeme Hewitt hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Aaron Nightingale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes London Met Academy got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Acton. After 84 played minutes London Met Academy got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Acton. After 92 minutes of play, Maniac City's Lewis Barnes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Bancroft was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maniac City's goalkeeper Rhys Laycock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 99th minute of the match, Ozzy Cooper got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rhys Laycock was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Maniac City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
