Donny Perryman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Pedro Bancroft made a huge save. In the 4th minute Charlie Huxtable shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Bancroft saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ozzy Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Oliver Naisbitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristopher Wills's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Bancroft firmly grabbed it by the left post. Charlie Huxtable recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Bancroft made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Donny Perryman sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute Charlie Huxtable shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Bancroft saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Norby City booed when London Met Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Acton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ozzy Cooper might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Naisbitt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ozzy Cooper ran back to his position shaking his head. Charlie Huxtable was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, London Met Academy's Pedro Bancroft got control of the ball when Donny Perryman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charlie Huxtable sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Bancroft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Huxtable in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, London Met Academy's Kevin Eanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Naisbitt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ozzy Cooper to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind London Met Academy's goalkeeper Pedro Bancroft, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steve Rush fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Bancroft having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Kevin Eanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Perryman in the 62nd minute of play forced London Met Academy's goalkeeper Pedro Bancroft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to London Met Academy getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tommy Acton hit a great ball. Norby City's Charlie Huxtable got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in London Met Academy's zone, Donny Perryman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Bancroft came out of the goal and Donny Perryman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, London Met Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Huxtable came free, but Pedro Bancroft reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donny Perryman struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Pedro Bancroft didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norby City. After having played for 75 minutes, Kevin Eanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. London Met Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Eanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to London Met Academy getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Denzil Brook hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Donny Perryman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Bancroft showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Huxtable in the 85th minute of the match. Pedro Bancroft took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Huxtable, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Perryman in the 95th minute of play forced London Met Academy's goalkeeper Pedro Bancroft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norby City were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing London Met Academy to leave the ground with a draw.
