Pat Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Huckerby in the 21st minute of the match. Pat Mitchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Huckerby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, New Romney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beinn Smikle to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute New Romney were awarded a corner. Verne Attwood went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Verne Attwood almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bethnal Green and Hackney City's Donny Bensley did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Huckerby in the 53rd minute of play forced New Romney's goalkeeper Pat Mitchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the New Romney defense, Iain Morgan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pat Mitchell. The New Romney fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pat Mitchell should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Kirk Crouch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pat Mitchell. New Romney's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kirk Crouch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Pat Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iain Morgan in the 71st minute of the match. New Romney's Pat Mitchell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iain Morgan in the 72nd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, New Romney's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Huckerby came free, but Pat Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pat Mitchell came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Bethnal Green and Hackney City's Iain Morgan. But to his dismay, Iain Morgan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. New Romney's Pat Mitchell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iain Morgan in the 87th minute of play. Pat Mitchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Huckerby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Verne Attwood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Bethnal Green and Hackney City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
