Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ashley Kyle took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seb Martin in the 4th minute of play forced Colne's goalkeeper Kasey Mead to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Seb Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Ashley Kyle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ash Beswetherick, passed just outside the right post. Johnathon Browning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ash Beswetherick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blair Wadham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Colne's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Wadham came free, but Kasey Mead reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ash Beswetherick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathon Browning in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ashley Kyle in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ash Beswetherick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonny Holmes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Blair Wadham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasey Mead read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Colne had won after a very even match.
