The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Isaac Clayton put in a rough tackle. Hayden Leslie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jools Brough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quentin Rowling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lawrence Bennett went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Robbie Chamberlain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ForestXI's Jools Brough got control of the ball when Hugh Farrow tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Gavin Seaman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Rowling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quentin Rowling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrence Bennett in the 31st minute of the match. Hugh FC's Quentin Rowling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavin Seaman in the 36th minute of play. Quentin Rowling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Bennett in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Gavin Seaman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Rowling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quentin Rowling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavin Seaman in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Quentin Rowling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavin Seaman in the 52nd minute of play. Gavin Seaman in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Quentin Rowling, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, ForestXI's Quentin Rowling threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lawrence Bennett, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Quentin Rowling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Seaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Quentin Rowling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrence Bennett in the 60th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Robbie Chamberlain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Quentin Rowling. Robbie Chamberlain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 76 minutes into the match, ForestXI's Lawrence Bennett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quentin Rowling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jools Brough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugh Farrow in the 78th minute of play. 1-3 became the score in the 80th minute when Richard Chilton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Hugh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lawrence Bennett came free, but Quentin Rowling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Devaney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Quentin Rowling made a huge save. Jools Brough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugh Farrow's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Hugh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayden Leslie to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Hugh FC's goalkeeper Quentin Rowling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavin Seaman.
