Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Louis Lawton started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tipton United's zone, Dion Forbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Len Humphreys came out of the goal and Dion Forbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louis Lawton in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Len Humphreys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dave Pool recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Pool received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jo Schofield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sean Vickers's late challenge caught a Tipton United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sean Vickers helped the player get up and apologised. Sean Vickers kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Dave Pool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dave Pool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jo Schofield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Pool in the 25th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Sea Anemone FC's Dion Forbes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Len Humphreys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 38th play minute Dion Forbes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Len Humphreys. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Pool to strike the kick off in the second half. Austin Naylor's late challenge caught a Sea Anemone FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Austin Naylor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tipton United getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Austin Naylor hit a great ball. Dave Pool struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jo Schofield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tipton United. In the 56th minute, Dominic Blythe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Steven Evans hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Dave Pool was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tipton United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sea Anemone FC the free kick. A collision led to Tipton United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Dave Pool hit a great ball. If Dion Forbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dion Forbes in the 74th minute of play forced Tipton United's goalkeeper Len Humphreys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Pool received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jo Schofield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Blythe took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jo Schofield. Jo Schofield dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Lawton in the 82nd minute of play forced Tipton United's goalkeeper Len Humphreys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tipton United's Vince Clarke got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Vince Clarke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Louis Lawton made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tipton United's Len Humphreys tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Dion Forbes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Louis Lawton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Tipton United's goal looked a bit too open when Dion Forbes came free, but Len Humphreys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tipton United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sea Anemone FC.
