Rupert Marchant made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Dersingham AFC's Leo Letheren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jude Breeden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rupert Marchant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Leo Letheren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dersingham AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Letheren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jude Breeden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Cannock's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Crouch came free, but Jude Breeden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jude Breeden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Letheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miles Hamer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Leo Letheren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dersingham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Letheren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Lloyd Beevers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Breeden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Cannock's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Letheren came free, but Jude Breeden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Danny Crouch made a precise shot to the right of Jude Breeden. Cannock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Danny Crouch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Breeden having to interfere.

In the 56thth minute of the game Leo Letheren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cannock's Jude Breeden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Letheren might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jude Breeden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Letheren ran back to his position shaking his head. Danny Crouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Lloyd Beevers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dersingham AFC and the Cannock players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Dersingham AFC's Leo Letheren in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cannock's goalie prevented a goal. Miles Hamer hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cannock's Jude Breeden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Letheren in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leo Letheren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jude Breeden was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Danny Crouch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Leo Letheren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cannock's Jude Breeden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miles Hamer's late challenge caught a Dersingham AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miles Hamer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Cannock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Hamer to maneuver through the defense. Leo Letheren struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jude Breeden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dersingham AFC. Lucas Meade charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Meade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cannock booed when Dersingham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Meade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derek Townsend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Marchant in the 78th minute of play. Danny Crouch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Jude Breeden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cannock's zone, Lloyd Beevers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jude Breeden came out of the goal and Lloyd Beevers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jude Breeden didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Danny Crouch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jude Breeden made a huge save. When Leo Letheren came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Dersingham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Letheren couldn't finish the play. Danny Crouch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jude Breeden made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Leo Letheren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jude Breeden, passed just outside the right post. The Cannock supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dersingham AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Dersingham AFC.
