Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pat Boyd took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Hayden Pye-Finch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edward Pearson. The goal made the score 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Lambeth FC's goalkeeper Edward Pearson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hayden Pye-Finch. Edward Pearson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pat Boyd in the 8th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Lambeth FC got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Dryden. In the 10th minute of the match, Pat Boyd tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edward Pearson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Vic Wicks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deon Harper was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Deon Harper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Airton in the 17th minute of the match. Lambeth FC's Freddie Dryden managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orson Stiles in the 19 minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Andy Francis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castleford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lambeth FC the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Castleford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Francis to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Orson Stiles in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lambeth FC's Freddie Dryden. Deon Harper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Wicks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trevor Connett was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Castleford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Ethan Airton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Deon Harper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Crispin Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lambeth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Crispin Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deon Harper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vic Wicks, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Hayden Pye-Finch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deon Harper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Airton in the 45th minute of play. The Castleford players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lambeth FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vic Wicks was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Orson Stiles in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lambeth FC's Freddie Dryden. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Vic Wicks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lambeth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vic Wicks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deon Harper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vic Wicks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Deon Harper when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lambeth FC's Crispin Boyd quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ged Ford, made in the 67th minute of the game. Deon Harper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Airton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Ash Davey notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Lambeth FC's Edward Pearson. Edward Pearson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Lambeth FC's Vic Wicks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Deon Harper. That made the score 2-3 after 76 minutes of play. If Hayden Pye-Finch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayden Pye-Finch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Edward Pearson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Castleford's goalkeeper Deon Harper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ethan Airton. 93 minutes into the match, Vic Wicks dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Deon Harper, 2-4. Lambeth FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
