Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Dylon Campbell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th match minute, Stoneleigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Coogan to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Marek Coogan fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Rupert Hallam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Coogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 10 minutes, Stevie Welsh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoneleigh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stevie Welsh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chichester FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Louie Phippard hit a great ball. Stoneleigh's Stevie Welsh came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Rupert Hallam had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of Stoneleigh booed when Chichester FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jake McRobbie didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marek Coogan came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Stoneleigh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Coogan couldn't finish the play. When Stoneleigh's Marek Coogan in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 41st match minute, Stoneleigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Faith to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Stoneleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Syd Frost came free, but Jacob Thorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Togwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jacob Thorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Coogan to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Freddie Faith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stoneleigh and the Chichester FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cliff Rush sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Will Illingworth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacob Thorn. Stoneleigh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Syd Frost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Thorn having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Denis Togwell took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jacob Thorn to make any attempt to save it. If Denis Togwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupert Hallam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Coogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Stevie Welsh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rupert Hallam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Jacob Thorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Togwell in the 88th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
