Dracula Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alnwick Town the free kick. Giles Layfield kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Lance Robertson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dracula Boys. Zack Doona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doug Grainger in the 97th minute of play. The Alnwick Town supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dracula Boys's performance. The match ended with a win for Dracula Boys.
