Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Billie Kitchen kicked off to start the match. Antony Watson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Trotter kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Egremont United's Jerome Inman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Whitstable United. With a little luck, Whitstable United's Theo McGrath got control of the ball when Camron Duckworth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Billie Kitchen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Billie Kitchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Theo McGrath made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camron Duckworth in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Billie Kitchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egremont United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billie Kitchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 played minutes Egremont United got a freekick which was hit by Rueben Dickens. After 30 minutes, Ashley York mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Whitstable United and the Egremont United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ashley York kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jack Woodford during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Whitstable United's Theo McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie Kitchen in the 42nd minute of play. When Billie Kitchen came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Egremont United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billie Kitchen couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Antony Watson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitstable United's supporters rose to their feet, but Antony Watson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colin Ely breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antony Watson to strike the kick off in the second half. Antony Watson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Whitstable United's George Trotter got a free kick in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeffrey Tolley during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeffrey Tolley kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Denzil Dothery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Egremont United's goalkeeper Colin Ely, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64thth minute of the game Camron Duckworth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Whitstable United's Theo McGrath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Egremont United's Billie Kitchen in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Whitstable United's goalie prevented a goal. Theo McGrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billie Kitchen in the 69th minute of the match. Daryl Maclean kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Camron Duckworth came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Egremont United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camron Duckworth couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dylon Fairbank got free with Colin Ely in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egremont United's Jack Woodford got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Jack Woodford off the ground. 76 minutes into the game, one of Egremont United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 86 minutes into the game, Dylon Fairbank cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Colin Ely was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, George Trotter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Whitstable United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
