Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denzil Dothery during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denzil Dothery kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Thornbury's Frank Ramsay shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Theo McGrath but with some difficulty. 6 minutes into the game, Thornbury's Keanu Chapman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo McGrath made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frazer Sunderland in the 11th minute of play forced Whitstable United's goalkeeper Theo McGrath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Frazer Sunderland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thornbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Frazer Sunderland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo McGrath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Whitstable United's Theo McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frazer Sunderland in the 17th minute of play. Antony Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Spike Kay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Thornbury's goal looked a bit too open when Dylon Fairbank came free, but Spike Kay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfie Shakespeare kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Whitstable United's goalkeeper Theo McGrath, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Whitstable United's Denzil Dothery got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Denzil Dothery off the ground. In the 25th minute, Denzil Dothery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 26 minutes, Keanu Chapman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thornbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keanu Chapman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Frazer Sunderland lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Theo McGrath. Casey Wildman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th match minute, Thornbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frazer Sunderland to maneuver through the defense. Frazer Sunderland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo McGrath having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frazer Sunderland was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Frazer Sunderland made a precise shot to the right of Theo McGrath. Whitstable United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Dylon Fairbank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute, Adrian Edmunds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Keanu Chapman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Frazer Sunderland notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Whitstable United's Theo McGrath. Theo McGrath was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antony Watson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thornbury's Spike Kay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Thornbury from getting a goal against them. Dylon Fairbank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spike Kay having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as George Trotter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Spike Kay. That made the score 4-1 in the 85 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Dylon Fairbank ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spike Kay was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Whitstable United's Theo McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keanu Chapman in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Frazer Sunderland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thornbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.
