In the 8th minute Dylon Fairbank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Kalischer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Kalischer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnnie Kearney hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Felix Kerfoot in the 14th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Richard Kalischer's left hand side. Richard Kalischer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Trevor Jefferies hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Felix Kerfoot was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Wirral Blues's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Watson came free, but Richard Kalischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antony Watson succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Dylon Fairbank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wirral Blues were furious when Johnnie Kearney was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Wirral Blues:s Richard Kalischer showed great skill when he stopped Felix Kerfoot:s penalty. The Wirral Blues players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Whitstable United were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Geoff Watts made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Antony Watson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Kalischer. Antony Watson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geoff Watts in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theo McGrath saved Whitstable United from getting behind. After 68 played minutes Whitstable United got a freekick which was hit by Denzil Dothery. Theo McGrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoff Watts in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Gunn in the 71st minute of play forced Whitstable United's goalkeeper Theo McGrath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Wirral Blues's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antony Watson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Whitstable United's Antony Watson in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Richard Kalischer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Antony Watson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Kalischer. That made the score 0-6 in the 91 minute of play. Dylon Fairbank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Richard Kalischer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
