Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ruben McMahon got the match started through his kick off. Chris Staple kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Frimley's Andrew Holloway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben McMahon in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frimley's goalkeeper Andrew Holloway, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cliff Lagdon charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cliff Lagdon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Calverley's Cliff Lagdon got a free kick in the 12th minute. Chris Staple kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jonathan Shaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Andrew Holloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ruben McMahon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calverley's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben McMahon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrew Holloway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrew Holloway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben McMahon's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Lewis Sunderland hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Richie Partridge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Junior Baldwin. Calverley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richie Partridge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Richie Partridge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Junior Baldwin made a huge save. Vernon Robinson's late challenge caught a Frimley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vernon Robinson helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Frimley!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vern Plumber was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Calverley's Ruben McMahon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrew Holloway. That made the score 2-2 after 55 minutes of play. Jonathan Shaw's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Andrew Holloway skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ruben McMahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben McMahon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrew Holloway came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruben McMahon slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben McMahon in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrew Holloway saved Frimley from getting behind. When Ruben McMahon came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Calverley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben McMahon couldn't finish the play. Ruben McMahon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Holloway having to interfere. Richie Partridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Junior Baldwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vern Plumber succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. After 81 played minutes Frimley got a freekick which was hit by Richie Partridge. Andrew Holloway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben McMahon's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Frimley's Andrew Holloway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben McMahon in the 88th minute of play. Ruben McMahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Jo Hodges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Calverley players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Frimley from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
