Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zak Kerfoot started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Frost in the 15th minute of play forced FC Running Riots's goalkeeper Seth Bentley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charlie Frost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Bentley having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, FC Running Riots's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Frost came free, but Seth Bentley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seth Bentley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Frost, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Running Riots's Ben Bibby got a free kick in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Theobald in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seth Bentley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charlie Frost blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seth Bentley having to make a save. A collision led to FC Running Riots getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bradley Shipley hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Theobald to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Edward Kidd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Zak Kerfoot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Running Riots's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zak Kerfoot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zak Kerfoot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothy Starr having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Thomas Beevers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blackpool United's Charlie Frost got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charlie Frost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Ritchie Denham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blackpool United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Running Riots the free kick. Ritchie Denham kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Charlie Frost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
