Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Grant Akins made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Brazil getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Norman Walton hit a great ball. Leo Pope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Eddie Henman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Les Vickers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Jagiellonia's Orson Burrows seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Orson Burrows the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jagiellonia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Orson Burrows had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 15 minutes into the game, one of Jagiellonia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Brazil. Les Vickers stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eddie Henman. 0-1. When Junior Halliwell, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Basil Wedlock was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Billy Kendall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basil Wedlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Jagiellonia got a freekick which was hit by Dale Birch. Junior Halliwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Basil Wedlock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Junior Halliwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Leo Pope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brazil's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Pope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Henman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Junior Halliwell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jagiellonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 45th minute, Leo Pope made a precise shot to the right of Eddie Henman. Jagiellonia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Jagiellonia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brazil were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Junior Halliwell made the kick off in the second half. Eddie Henman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Pope went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Eddie Henman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grant Akins in the 64th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Leo Pope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brazil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Pope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grant Akins in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eddie Henman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Basil Wedlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Kendall, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Eddie Henman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Norman Walton. In the 76th minute, Billy Kendall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Brazil got a freekick which was hit by Norman Walton. Archie Weedon hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Brazil's Grant Akins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eddie Henman. Eddie Henman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Leo Pope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brazil's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Pope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Henman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Junior Halliwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brazil's Basil Wedlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Kendall in the 94th minute of play. Jagiellonia's Eddie Henman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia from getting a goal against them. The Jagiellonia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brazil's performance. The match ended with a win for Brazil.
