Spectators: 7596 (Terracing: 5698, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Austen Pinder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heathfield Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Austen Pinder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Crooks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Austen Pinder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jack Crooks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Heathfield Rangers fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Heathfield Rangers's Austen Pinder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18thth minute of the game Dominic Mahon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grim Reapers's Jack Crooks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heathfield Rangers's Dominic Mahon got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alastair Cook kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Austen Floyd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Austen Pinder came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Heathfield Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Austen Pinder couldn't finish the play. If Austen Floyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominic Mahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Grim Reapers's zone, Austen Pinder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Crooks came out of the goal and Austen Pinder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Austen Pinder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jack Crooks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Austen Pinder, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Chip Boyle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jack Crooks. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. Austen Floyd charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Austen Floyd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Grim Reapers's Austen Floyd got a free kick in the 56th minute. Austen Pinder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jack Crooks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Dominic Mahon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Chip Boyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jack Crooks. Grim Reapers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chip Boyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Jack Crooks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chip Boyle in the 78th minute. A collision led to Grim Reapers getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alastair Cook hit a great ball. Grim Reapers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Chip Boyle scored to the left of an out of position Jack Crooks, making the score, 0-7. Austen Pinder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Crooks having to interfere. Dominic Mahon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jack Crooks came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominic Mahon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 84th minute. Phillip Auckland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Crooks having to interfere. If Austen Pinder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Heathfield Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Harris came free, but Dylon Pettifer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Chris Harris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heathfield Rangers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
