Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rod Langdon kicked off to start the match. Burton upon Trent FC's Danny Snowden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conal Scholey in the 3rd minute of play. Nathanial Burns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Snowden having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Conal Scholey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Snowden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barrie Chalk in the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Conal Houghton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tony United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conal Houghton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nathanial Burns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Danny Snowden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danny Snowden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barrie Chalk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barrie Chalk in the 22nd minute of play forced Burton upon Trent FC's goalkeeper Danny Snowden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zane Oliver during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Zane Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Snowden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conal Houghton in the 24th minute of the match. Danny Snowden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conal Houghton in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Barrie Chalk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Danny Snowden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Burton upon Trent FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barrie Chalk came free, but Danny Snowden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Burton upon Trent FC got a freekick which was hit by Wayne Ackland. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conal Houghton in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Snowden saved Burton upon Trent FC from getting behind. If Conal Houghton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Tony United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barrie Chalk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barrie Chalk struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Danny Snowden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tony United. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Ferrell in the 55th minute of play forced Tony United's goalkeeper Fraser Seagrave to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rod Langdon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Barrie Chalk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Snowden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Trevor Bourne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes, Tony United's Damon Hedley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danny Snowden came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tony United reached it. In the 67th minute Barrie Chalk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Snowden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Snowden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barrie Chalk's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With his leg Danny Snowden managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Tony United's Conal Houghton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Danny Snowden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barrie Chalk, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Danny Snowden was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Barrie Chalk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barrie Chalk really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Tony United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
