Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Donny Lockwood made the kick off which started today's match. Dale Armitage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhys Froggatt in the 4th minute of play. Simon Elding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Sutherland having to interfere. Plumstead's Basil Sutherland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Plumstead from getting a goal against them. Rhys Froggatt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dale Armitage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Jon Camfield was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boscombe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plumstead the free kick. A collision led to Boscombe getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jon Camfield hit a great ball. Stu McRobbie, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dale Armitage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Zak Harrington fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boscombe's protests and gave Zak Harrington a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Boscombe got a freekick which was hit by Zak Harrington. After some careless play in the Boscombe defense, Mitch Young kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dale Armitage. The Boscombe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dale Armitage should have stopped the shot. Rhys Froggatt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dale Armitage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sammy Elding charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sammy Elding the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes Boscombe got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Elding.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rhys Froggatt to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neil Hopker during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Plumstead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Hopker to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Boscombe's Damian Findley tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Plumstead's zone, Donny Lockwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basil Sutherland came out of the goal and Donny Lockwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rhys Froggatt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dale Armitage. That made the score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boscombe's goalkeeper Dale Armitage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute Mitch Young suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Findley during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Boscombe got a freekick which was hit by Damian Findley. Dale Armitage made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stu McRobbie in the 90th minute. Chesney Argent charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chesney Argent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Plumstead getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Chesney Argent hit a great ball. Boscombe's Dale Armitage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhys Froggatt in the 98th minute of play. Plumstead's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
