Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Blair Niven started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Damion Nethercott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dion Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. CJ Carlick stood somewhat misplaced when Blair Niven came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coventry UTD's goalkeeper CJ Carlick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When South Benfleet United's Blair Niven in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coventry UTD's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Blair Niven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but CJ Carlick was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dion Jones in the 20th minute of play forced South Benfleet United's goalkeeper Dylan Cheswick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Harban got away a dangerous shot. Despite this CJ Carlick quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ed Power recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dion Jones in the 37th minute of play forced South Benfleet United's goalkeeper Dylan Cheswick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CJ Carlick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Niven's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. A collision led to South Benfleet United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bobby Fleetham hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dylan Butterfield to strike the kick off in the second half. CJ Carlick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Niven's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Eddy Atherton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coventry UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddy Atherton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dylan Cheswick was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dylan Butterfield showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 61 minute of play. In the 66th minute, Thom Steed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bobby Fleetham hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Blair Niven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but CJ Carlick was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. CJ Carlick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blair Niven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ed Power managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Benfleet United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ed Power was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. CJ Carlick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, South Benfleet United's goalkeeper Dylan Cheswick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martyn Gough. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Blair Widdrington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coventry UTD's supporters rose to their feet, but Blair Widdrington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Cheswick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. South Benfleet United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
