Len Dunne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Shane Hornsby made a precise shot to the right of Jake Webster. Potato Chasers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Denny Atkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Verne Proctor rounded Rowner's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After a rather tough play, Potato Chasers's Denny Atkinson got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rowner were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Potato Chasers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eddy Kellaway took the corner. The corner led Rowner's Eddy Kellaway to fire away a dangerous shot which Jake Webster despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Potato Chasers booed when Rowner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. John-Paul Hardcastle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Wellings made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jools Oates in the 36th minute. Shane Hornsby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rowner's Len Dunne got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jake Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Hornsby, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Potato Chasers's Jake Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Dunne in the 46th minute of play.

Shane Hornsby let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 51st minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. 60 minutes into the match, Rowner's Len Dunne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jake Webster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Potato Chasers's Jacob Ashby got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Shane Hornsby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rowner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shane Hornsby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes, Len Dunne made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Potato Chasers's Jake Webster tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Shane Hornsby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jake Webster made a huge save. Jake Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Len Dunne in the 75th minute of the match. Shane Hornsby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shane Hornsby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Potato Chasers's Jake Webster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Potato Chasers from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute of the match, Shane Hornsby got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jake Webster was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jools Oates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Wellings having to interfere. Rowner's Len Dunne got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Rowner left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Potato Chasers.
