Denny Atkinson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Patrick Grantham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Webster having to interfere. Patrick Grantham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jake Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jacob Ashby fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potato Chasers's protests and gave Jacob Ashby a yellow card for diving instead. Jacob Ashby hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Patrick Grantham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Grantham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlton Booker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jake Webster made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Carlton Booker sent off a good shot on target. Carlton Booker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jake Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Booker in the 52nd minute of the match. Potato Chasers's Jake Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlton Booker in the 75th minute of play. If Patrick Grantham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes of play, Newark's Carlton Booker made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jake Webster was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Grantham succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Newark's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
