In a very dangerous position, a player in Lovedean fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Vernon Hall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Maylett, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Vernon Hall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Maylett in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute Rory Maylett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vernon Hall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wayne Denham in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vernon Hall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sam Warner kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Wayne Denham notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lovedean's Vernon Hall. Vernon Hall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vernon Hall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Denham in the 37th minute of play. Lovedean's Vernon Hall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Maylett in the 42nd minute of play. Wayne Denham charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wayne Denham got free with Vernon Hall in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 53 played minutes Lovedean got a freekick which was hit by Lloyd Lennon. 56 minutes into the match, Lovedean's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Maylett came free, but Vernon Hall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vernon Hall came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ryde Warriors's Rory Maylett. But to his dismay, Rory Maylett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Vernon Hall didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. In the 79thth minute of the game Sam Warner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ryde Warriors's Lucas Hold was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lovedean's Vernon Hall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Lovedean from getting a goal against them. Lucas Hold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Warner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sam Warner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lovedean's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Warner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Hold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Lovedean supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ryde Warriors's performance. The match ended with a win for Ryde Warriors.
