Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Newbiggin FC defense, Geoff Impey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justin Hilton. The Newbiggin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justin Hilton should have stopped the shot. After 10 played minutes Brabusss got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Bullard. In the 21st minute Kristian Sutcliffe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Hilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephen Mimms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stephen Mimms struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Justin Hilton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brabusss. Abraham Crooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Justin Hilton came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Brabusss's Geoff Quinn. But to his dismay, Geoff Quinn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Brabusss were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hugh Sewell hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Newbiggin FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastien Rush. A collision led to Newbiggin FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bill Portway hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Geoff Impey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Hilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geoff Impey during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Newbiggin FC booed when Brabusss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff Impey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Newbiggin FC's zone, Geoff Impey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Hilton came out of the goal and Geoff Impey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastien Rush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Johnathan Shaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugh Sewell fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 86th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Geoff Impey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Hilton having to interfere. Stephen Mimms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Justin Hilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Newbiggin FC had been in control for most of the match, Brabusss still came away with the win.
