In the 4th minute, Stephen Mimms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Andrew Batty elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Stephen Mimms put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stuart Brookes. 19 minutes into the match, Brabusss's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Batty came free, but Johnathan Shaw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Co Durham FC booed when Brabusss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyn Bullard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnathan Shaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlton Davies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martyn Bullard hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Geoff Impey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Stuart Brookes made a huge save. Johnathan Shaw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Hassell in the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Co Durham FC's goalkeeper Stuart Brookes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stephen Mimms. Stuart Brookes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Quinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stuart Brookes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephen Mimms in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stephen Mimms got free with Stuart Brookes in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Co Durham FC's Stuart Brookes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Impey in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrew Batty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brabusss's Johnathan Shaw proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Brabusss from getting a goal against them. After having played for 53 minutes, Archie Green managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Co Durham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Archie Green was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Co Durham FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jeffrey Mellon hit a great ball. If Geoff Impey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Stephen Mimms who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Co Durham FC's Stuart Brookes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Martyn Bullard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stuart Brookes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stuart Brookes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martyn Bullard in the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Co Durham FC's zone, Geoff Quinn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stuart Brookes came out of the goal and Geoff Quinn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stuart Brookes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Mimms, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Stuart Brookes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Mimms in the 75th minute of the match. Stuart Brookes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Mimms in the 79th minute of play. Stephen Mimms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Brabusss's Johnathan Shaw got control of the ball when Archie Green tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Carlton Davies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Co Durham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brabusss the free kick. Stephen Mimms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart Brookes having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Co Durham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vern Delamore to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Co Durham FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Archie Green hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brabusss fully deserved thier win.
