Ryde Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ged Johnstone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wayne Denham got free with Johnathan Shaw in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Hold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Mimms in the 13th minute of play. Geoff Impey scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Hold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristian Sutcliffe helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brabusss! In the 28th minute Ryde Warriors were awarded a corner. Teddy Whalley went to the cornerflag to take it. Ryde Warriors's Lucas Hold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Mimms in the 30th minute of play. When Rory Maylett came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ryde Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rory Maylett couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Rory Maylett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ryde Warriors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Martyn Bullard fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brabusss's protests and gave Martyn Bullard a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Brabusss got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Bullard. Johnathan Shaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Maylett in the 41st minute of play. Abraham Crooks hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Brabusss were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stephen Mimms to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Lucas Hold successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 53rdth minute of the game Geoff Quinn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ryde Warriors's Lucas Hold was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brabusss's Stephen Mimms got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Hold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephen Mimms in the 56th minute. When Ryde Warriors's Wayne Denham in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brabusss's goalie prevented a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Rory Maylett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnathan Shaw. Brabusss's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rory Maylett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 72 minutes into the match, Ryde Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff Quinn came free, but Lucas Hold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnathan Shaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Maylett, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ryde Warriors's Lucas Hold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ryde Warriors from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Brabusss's Camron Morris got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Brabusss's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Maylett came free, but Johnathan Shaw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnathan Shaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ged Johnstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wayne Denham kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Wayne Denham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnathan Shaw. Brabusss's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wayne Denham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ryde Warriors had won after a very even match.
