When Archie Hassell fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Co Durham FC's protests and gave Archie Hassell a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Northallerton booed when Co Durham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Hassell didn't get a good kick on the ball. If John-Paul Bloom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
