After a defensive mix-up in Lond-Catford's zone, Wayne Denham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rick Elam came out of the goal and Wayne Denham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rory Maylett succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rory Maylett in the 27th minute of play forced Lond-Catford's goalkeeper Rick Elam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lond-Catford's goalkeeper Rick Elam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phil Langford scored 3-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Hold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rick Elam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Horsey in the 77th minute of the match. Rory Maylett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Elam having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Rory Maylett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lond-Catford's Rick Elam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Hold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Rowling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lond-Catford's Rick Elam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Lond-Catford from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute of the match Leigh Dennison shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rick Elam showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rick Elam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Maylett in the 93rd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
