Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rory Maylett took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Brabusss booed when Ryde Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyn Burnett didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ryde Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Bullard came free, but Lucas Hold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Hold made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Stephen Mimms sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 12 minutes, Rory Maylett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ryde Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rory Maylett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnathan Shaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Horsey in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Wayne Denham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Johnathan Shaw was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Rory Maylett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnathan Shaw. Brabusss's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rory Maylett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st minute, Simon Deacon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Brabusss's Kristian Sutcliffe got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Stephen Mimms made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Hold. Ryde Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Ryde Warriors's goalkeeper Lucas Hold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stephen Mimms. Lucas Hold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Crooks, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Lewis Horsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ryde Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Horsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnathan Shaw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Rory Maylett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnathan Shaw was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Johnathan Shaw didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rory Maylett went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lewis Horsey in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnathan Shaw saved Brabusss from getting behind. Lucas Hold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Impey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Rory Maylett took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Johnathan Shaw to make any attempt to save it. Johnathan Shaw made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wayne Denham in the 65th minute. Johnathan Shaw made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Lewis Horsey sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 74 minutes, Geoff Impey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brabusss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geoff Impey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ryde Warriors booed when Brabusss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff Impey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wayne Denham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Johnathan Shaw made a huge save. Johnathan Shaw made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Rufus Ashton sent off a good shot on target. Ryde Warriors's Lucas Hold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Quinn in the 82nd minute of play. Ryde Warriors's Lewis Horsey got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lewis Horsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Martyn Bullard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martyn Burnett struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Johnathan Shaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryde Warriors. After 93 minutes of play, Brabusss's Geoff Quinn made it 3-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Hold was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Rory Maylett dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johnathan Shaw, 3-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ryde Warriors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
