Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geoff Impey in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alastair Norfolk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alastair Norfolk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoff Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Quinn in the 21st minute of play forced Bishops Castle's goalkeeper Alastair Norfolk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Bishops Castle's goalkeeper Alastair Norfolk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geoff Impey. Brett Ferdinand scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnathan Shaw, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brabusss's Johnathan Shaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huey Meadowcroft in the 35th minute of play. Alastair Norfolk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Mimms, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Brett Ferdinand made a precise shot to the right of Johnathan Shaw. Brabusss's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The audience was convinced that Huey Meadowcroft's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnathan Shaw was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Johnathan Shaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Ferdinand in the 45th minute of play.

The wind increased when Huey Meadowcroft made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Sean Nash recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johnathan Shaw. Sean Nash showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. If Martyn Bullard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brabusss's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Sean Nash scored to the left of an out of position Johnathan Shaw, making the score, 2-5. After a defensive mix-up in Brabusss's zone, Brett Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnathan Shaw came out of the goal and Brett Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Brabusss supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bishops Castle's performance. The match ended with a win for Bishops Castle.
