Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristopher Townsend to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Curttannia FC's goalkeeper Wes Lovett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Derry Hill's Harvey Grantham got a free kick in the 64th minute. Damian Saville hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Zack Budden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Dunning in the 74th minute of the match. Sammy Butterfield charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sammy Butterfield the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sammy Butterfield hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Derry Hill's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Curttannia FC had won, even though Derry Hill had held more of the ball.
