Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Ty Ridgeway successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes into the game, Steven Lee-Barrett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golcar City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kidderminster Town the free kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Spears prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Laycock in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Spears saved Kidderminster Town from getting behind. The supporters of Kidderminster Town booed when Golcar City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Benbow didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Golcar City's goalkeeper Ty Ridgeway had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Goldthorpe. Andy Spears showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Laycock in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute James Medlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Spears saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Laycock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kidderminster Town booed when Golcar City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Lynch didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jermaine Holloway's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ty Ridgeway was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golcar City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kidderminster Town.
