In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curttannia FC's goalkeeper Wes Lovett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, scouse lads's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Dunning came free, but Bobby Crossley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curttannia FC's Jon Hargrave couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for scouse lads. The audience was convinced that Romeo Dunning's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bobby Crossley was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, scouse lads's Luke Bonds got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Curttannia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Dunning to maneuver through the defense. Vinnie Parrott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, scouse lads's Bobby Crossley got control of the ball when Ronan Brooks tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Curttannia FC booed when scouse lads was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luke Bonds didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bobby Crossley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronan Brooks went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

Wes Lovett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinnie Parrott in the 54th minute of play. Vinnie Parrott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of scouse lads booed when Curttannia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnathon Hilditch didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, scouse lads's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Dunning came free, but Bobby Crossley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for scouse lads! Wes Lovett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinnie Parrott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. scouse lads's Bobby Crossley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronan Brooks in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinnie Parrott kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wes Lovett. That made the score 2-1 in the 72 minute of play. In the 77th match minute, scouse lads was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warren Falkingham to maneuver through the defense. Bobby Crossley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Dunning, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Ronan Brooks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby Crossley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Phil Scorfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Vinnie Parrott recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wes Lovett. Vinnie Parrott showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Tuck got free with Wes Lovett in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
