After a defensive mix-up in Turtle Bay's zone, Gavin Pell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirk Burkinshaw came out of the goal and Gavin Pell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gavin Pell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Rufus Cartwright a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darius Moyle during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathon Kingston's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Kirk Burkinshaw skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathon Kingston got free with Kirk Burkinshaw in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darren Atkinson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kirk Burkinshaw having to make a save. 66 minutes into the match, Turtle Bay's goalkeeper Kirk Burkinshaw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathon Kingston. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathon Kingston got free with Kirk Burkinshaw in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathon Kingston in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kirk Burkinshaw, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 70 minutes into the match, Jonathon Kingston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kirk Burkinshaw. Turtle Bay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathon Kingston was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Jonathon Kingston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathon Kingston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kirk Burkinshaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stratford-upon-Avon FC's Jonathon Kingston got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play, Turtle Bay's Seth Lawless made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toby Blewitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gavin Pell charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavin Pell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gavin Pell hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Turtle Bay could leave the field as winners, despite Stratford-upon-Avon FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
