Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Larry Atherton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jay Driver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnny Beck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Larry Atherton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the game, Rex Hatcher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carl King was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 9 minutes into the game, Den Wellings was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hectic Gaming Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hackney Downs United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hectic Gaming Academy's Den Wellings got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Rex Hatcher came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Hackney Downs United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rex Hatcher couldn't finish the play. In the 14thth minute of the game Larry Atherton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hectic Gaming Academy's Carl King was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Larry Atherton fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hackney Downs United's protests and gave Larry Atherton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Larry Atherton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnny Beck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Den Wellings showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hackney Downs United's zone, Jay Driver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Beck came out of the goal and Jay Driver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyrone Windsor charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tyrone Windsor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hackney Downs United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 31st match minute, Hackney Downs United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Hatcher to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Hackney Downs United's Larry Atherton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl King narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carl King took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Atherton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rex Hatcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Den Wellings to strike the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Bart Byfield in the 52nd minute really tested Carl King's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 58th minute Larry Atherton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Hectic Gaming Academy's goalkeeper Carl King had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rex Hatcher. Carl King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Atherton in the 64th minute of play. Rex Hatcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Carl King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Hectic Gaming Academy got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Bayliff. After 70 minutes of play, Hackney Downs United's Rex Hatcher made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl King was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Atherton in the 77th minute of play forced Hectic Gaming Academy's goalkeeper Carl King to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Hackney Downs United's Larry Atherton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carl King. Carl King yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. The long shot by Bart Byfield in the 82nd minute really tested Carl King's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 90th minute of the match Kris Winship shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnny Beck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Larry Atherton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Tuck kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Hectic Gaming Academy succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hackney Downs United had controlled the match.
