Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tommy Wooding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart Peat having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Staines FC's Alf Browne got a free kick in the 7th minute. Stuart Peat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Weedon in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Kirk Weedon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storm FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kirk Weedon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stuart Peat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, Storm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Turk to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by CJ Joy during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Kirk Weedon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Wooding might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stuart Peat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Wooding ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Tommy Wooding ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stuart Peat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kirk Weedon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. The tension between the Staines FC and the Storm FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 45 minutes, Kirk Weedon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kirk Weedon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Wooding might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stuart Peat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Wooding ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Staines FC's goalkeeper Stuart Peat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Storm FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Will Pearson hit a great ball. CJ Joy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 104th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Gildea having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Storm FC fully deserved thier win.
