Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luke Rockett made the kick off and thus started the match. Sean Drysdale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Weedon in the 11th minute of the match. Stone's Sean Drysdale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Stone from getting a goal against them. Al Woodman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirk Weedon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sean Drysdale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamie Gildea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Woodman in the 21st minute of play. If Luke Rockett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirk Weedon in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sean Drysdale saved Stone from getting behind. Tommy Wooding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sean Drysdale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glenn Turk, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Storm FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Glenn Turk hit a great ball. Tommy Wooding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sean Drysdale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Wooding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Drysdale having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Storm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Turk to maneuver through the defense. Jamie Gildea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Rockett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kirk Weedon to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Steve Younger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stone's supporters rose to their feet, but Steve Younger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamie Gildea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Storm FC's zone, Bob Moss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamie Gildea came out of the goal and Bob Moss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes of play, Storm FC's Tommy Wooding made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean Drysdale was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 58 minutes, Tommy Wooding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Wooding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Stone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Hutchins to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes of play, Storm FC's Tommy Wooding made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean Drysdale was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Al Woodman took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jamie Gildea to make any attempt to save it. Al Woodman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ashley Partridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Drysdale having to interfere. Al Woodman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jamie Gildea made a huge save. The supporters of Storm FC booed when Stone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Hutchins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Wooding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Stone got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Hutchins. In the 87th minute, Kirk Weedon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Storm FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 90 minutes of play Storm FC's Glenn Turk was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Storm FC's Glenn Turk got a free kick in the 91st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Stone's Damien Hendley tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stone's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
