When Gustaw Podowski came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Jerks United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaw Podowski couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes, Brigid Martyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jerks United and the FC Kennington players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brigid Martyn kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Gamble stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 80th minute, Hayden Collins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barry Bryden was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After having played for 88 minutes, Junior Townson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jerks United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Townson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Junior Townson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Allanson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Jerks United lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
