Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Niall Broadhurst got the match started through his kick off. Danny Carlick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niall Broadhurst's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Adam Akins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Niall Broadhurst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BCMY's Danny Carlick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Steven Robson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BCMY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Robson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mickey Sparkes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steven Robson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. When Stockport Rockers's Niall Broadhurst in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BCMY's goalie prevented a goal. Austin Blackwood hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Adam Akins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BCMY's Rhys Moore got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marek Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Steven Robson struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Mickey Sparkes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BCMY. When Rhys Moore came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the BCMY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rhys Moore couldn't finish the play. A nice corner shot did that Basil Wittingham got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mickey Sparkes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Rhys Moore made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Rhys Moore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mickey Sparkes. Stockport Rockers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rhys Moore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rhys Moore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mickey Sparkes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stockport Rockers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Mickey Sparkes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Robson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhys Moore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austin Blackwood hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Graeme Gamble fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stockport Rockers's protests and gave Graeme Gamble a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Stockport Rockers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Gamble to maneuver through the defense. Mickey Sparkes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhys Moore in the 86th minute of the match. Steven Robson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mickey Sparkes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhys Moore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickey Sparkes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Rhys Moore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Robson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Sparkes having to interfere. Mickey Sparkes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhys Moore in the 100th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BCMY had played much better football throughout.
